Employees who feel appreciated are motivated, cheerful and loyal. If you have a business you have the obligation to boost employee morale by recognizing them for the effort they put into making your business profitable, especially when one goes above and beyond. If you dont they may become discouraged and feel that they have no reason to make that especial effort.
Show your employees that you do see how hard they work and that you appreciate it by handing out appropriate awards and gifts. They dont cost as much as bonuses, but they are still handsome and meaningful.

People are more likely to give to you if you give to them, and by making such gestures you show the fact that you want to build a relationship that is founded on mutual esteem and respect, and that you value them beyond simply what they are able to do for you.
